Serena

Serena is a kettle dyed 60% Baby Alpaca 40% Pima Cotton yarn. The blend makes it a great all season yarn, with Cotton providing smoothness and weight and the Baby Alpaca providing loft and just enough warmth.  The yarn is available in 15 muted colours - 8 semi-solids and 7 of the space dyes that Manos del Uruguay is famous for.  Serena has 155 metres per 50g skein and knits with 3.5-4 mm needles.

Serena knits to a gauge of 22 to 26 stitches per 10 cms and is a perfect yarn for spring and summer knitting.  The yarn has a beautiful drape and is suited to both garment and accessory knitting.
